I am one of the Georgia mom’s that read your book, In the Company of Men, after finding it on the recommended reading list for new parents. I really enjoyed it and gained a lot of understanding of the 4th class system. My son would tell us about what he was doing and I would ask questions or make comments and he would ask me how I new that. It also gave me a great deal of comfort to somewhat understand the Citadel way of life. Thank you for the book!

I was trying to locate the research center in Chesterfield, S.C. I teach upper elementary students God’s Design Weather and Water Class at Excelsior Academy. I saw the research center on the Weather Channel and I wanted to see if we could take a field trip to the facility.

Scores of parents in Georgia and around the country read your book, In the Company of Men, each fall as their student begins knob year. We’ve put it on the recommended reading list for new parents and cadets.

Personally, I read the book second semester of my son’s knob year and wish I had read it earlier. I would have understood so much more about the 4th Class System earlier in the process.
